Want to break your quarantine routine and learn about some local brews? Join us for the first-ever virtual beer tasting collaboration between the Morrill Memorial Library and Norwood’s own Castle Island brewing! To help you enjoy the full tasting experience, Castle Island will be selling a limited time “Library Tasting Pack” for curbside pickup from June 1-June 3. In addition to four different beers – Keeper, Bohemian Shine, Fruit Zoot, and White Ale – this pack will include free swag such as a glass and tasting items. The Library Tasting Pack will be available to purchase on the Castle Island website from June 1-June 3, for curbside pickup at the brewery. Then, join us via Zoom on Wednesday, June 3 at 7:30 pm as Norwood native and Castle Island crew member, Emily Whitney, guides us through the tasting experience and gives us more information about each unique variety of beer represented. Emily will give us an industry insider’s take on the prolific craft brewing scene around Boston and how Castle Island has been able to thrive in such a saturated market.

Purchase of beer is not a requirement to join the Virtual Beer Tasting, but having the Library Tasting Pack on hand will give you a fuller beer tasting experience.
