On Monday, November 18 at 7:00pm the Morrill Memorial Library's 2024 Artist-in-Residence will present a talk called "The Business of Drag" in the Simoni Room.
Curious about the economic and business side of what it takes to be a drag performer? How do you book gigs? Do makeup or costumes qualify as business expenses? How much money can you really expect to make? Is filing your taxes a nightmare? The Library's 2024 Artist-in-Residence, local drag performer Miz Diamond Wigfall, will shed light on these questions and more!
