Aging Parents: Understanding housing options

Tuesday, July 166:30—7:30 PMSimoni RoomMorrill Memorial Library33 Walpole St., Norwood, MA, 02062

Morrill Memorial Library is partnering with Cornerstone at Canton to host an information session on a very important topic of how to care for our parents and other aging adults in our care. It is called Aging Parents: Understanding housing options on July 16, 2024 at 6:30PM in the Simoni Room.

Social isolation can have a profound effect on seniors living at home alone. Many older adults have limited opportunities for meaningful interactions and daily exercise, especially during the cold winter months. While visiting your loved ones, it is important to keep an eye out for both physical and cognitive changes. Please join Anne Stein, Director of Community Relations at Cornerstone, Canton and Rebecca Scalzo, the Executive Director as they e take the attendees through the signs to look out for and how to determine the best living option for your loved ones so that they can have the highest possible quality of life.

This program is free and open to all ages 18+. Registration is required. To sign up, please fill the form below or call the Reference Desk at 781-769-0200 x2.
