Brazil Meets the Middle East at Your Table!

Monday, August 247:00—8:30 PMVirtualMorrill Memorial Library33 Walpole St., Norwood, MA, 02062

Join Fernanda Ohannessian for a mouthwatering cooking demonstration where you'll learn to make a delicious and nutritious appetizer from Lebanon and indulge in a tasty treat from Brazil. Kibe is a traditional appetizer made of beef and seasonings served at gatherings of all kinds throughout Lebanon. Similarly, no birthday celebration takes place in Brazil without some variation of Brigadeiro, a rich, fudge-like dessert that will leave you yearning for more.

Growing up in Brazil, Fernanda loved cooking because it involved music, laughter, and late nights with her family. She and her Armenian-Lebanese husband now enjoy creating their own recipes derived from the Armenian-Brazilian-Lebanese cuisine.

If you'd like, get the ingredients ahead of time and cook with us during the program! You can find the Kibe recipe here, and the Brigadeiro recipe here.
