Snow is falling and movies are calling! Join us for a three-part February Film Fest at the Morrill Memorial Library in which we'll show several highly anticipated movies from the last year. In honor of Black History Month, we'll kick off the series on Monday, February 10, with "Harriet," rated PG-13 with a run time of just over 2 hours. This film depicts the true story of Harriet Tubman, an American hero who led hundreds of slaves to freedom on the Underground Railroad. Then on Thursday, February 13, we'll show the 2 hour PG-rated film, "Downton Abbey," which continues the dramatic story from the hit television series of the same name. Finally on Tuesday, February 25, we will show the star-studded PG-13, 2 hour film "The Public," a moving story about a Cincinnati librarian who takes a stand to shelter homeless patrons on a fatally cold night.
All of these films will be shown at 6:30 pm in the library's second floor Simoni Room, and popcorn will be served. To sign up, please fill out the form below, call 781-769-0200 x110, or visit the Reference or Information desk.
