Did you know that the Fairbanks House in Dedham—the oldest wooden structure in North America—may also be one of its most haunted? Come to the Morrill Memorial Library on Monday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m. to learn more about the mysteries of this dwelling that housed eight generations of the Fairbanks family. Enough paranormal activity has been observed in the house, where many Fairbanks family members died, to have attracted the attention of ghost hunters far and wide. Join Curator Daniel Neff as he returns to the library to talk about what ghost hunters actually do, and look at (and listen to) some of the most remarkable evidence of paranormal captured at the Fairbanks House.
