* EARLY RELEASE DAY PROGRAM *

Flora, Fauna, and Friends is a program designed to introduce elementary school-aged children to the Neponset River ecosystem and all the living things that we can find in our backyard. We will do a short lesson about habitats and then use microscopes and other fun methods to creatively engage with different aspects of the environment in the library. This program will occur on an NPS Early Release Day.

This program is presented by the Neponset River Watershed Association (NepRWA), a non profit organization whose mission has been to protect and restore the natural resources of the Neponset River, its tributaries, and surrounding watershed lands for the benefit of present and future generations.

Interested in learning about NepRWA and its work in our community? Check out  their website!
