Wednesday, June 246:00—8:00 PMVirtualMorrill Memorial Library33 Walpole St., Norwood, MA, 02062

Join Sandhya Jain on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:00 pm. as she demonstrates how to make two simple but delicious Indian dishes: Chicken Saag (spinach) with aromatic spices and a popular street food called Aloo Tikki (crispy potato and pea patties) with fresh mint chutney. Recipes will be emailed in advance to participants so they may either cook along with Sandhya or make the dishes themselves later. After the demo, Sandyha will talk about the health benefits of spices and answer any questions. Cooking has been Sandhya’s passion for over 20 years. Her culinary school, Sandhya’s Kitchen, is located in Franklin, MA.

“While I grew up learning the basics of traditional Indian spices from my mother,” Sandhya says,  “cooking in America taught me how to recreate the same flavors with the ingredients available here. Sandhya's Kitchen has given me a platform to share this enthusiasm for making Indian cooking easy. I get to boost your confidence in recreating all your favorite dishes from the Indian restaurants in your own kitchen while also adding healthy spices and vegetables to your everyday cooking.”

Registration is required. For Zoom access details and to sign up and receive a reminder email, in addition to the recipes, please fill out the form below.
