Calling all elementary school kids! It's the first day of summer reading! In order to register for the library's summer-long reading challenge, head to the MML's Summer Reading page to sign up.

This year, kids can choose 1 of 3 bingo challenges to keep them busy and reading all summer! Each bingo challenge has an overall reading goal for kids to log their reading minutes toward. Additionally, bingo cards feature different literacy activities families can complete together! By logging their minutes and completing activities, kids can earn "Book Bucks" to redeem at the library's Prize Store.  Kids will get 20 Book Bucks just for registering for this year's program!

Additionally, kids will earn virtual tickets they can use to enter our summer reading raffle prizes! Come to the library to check out all the prize baskets in the Lobby display cases!

Like previous years, the library will be usingBeanstack as our online summer reading platform. Beanstack allows parents and caregivers to use a convenient app to help their kid track their reading minutes and log their literacy activities on their bingo cards.
