Who doesn't like (carillon) bells? Meet the musicians who play the Norwood Carillon and are featured in this summer’s 34th annual Carillon Concert Series during an informal evening at the Morrill Memorial Library on Thursday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m. Over the last several years, a number of accomplished carillonneurs have moved to Eastern Mass. and have performed on the fine set of 50 English bells in the tower of the Norwood Town Hall. There will be an opportunity to hear about each person’s carillon background, learn how Norwood’s carillon provides unique challenges and experiences, and to ask questions. Hosted by Lee Leach, Norwood’s carillonneur since 1995, this event is sure to be an enriching and enlightening experience for all.
