The Spring Musical Sundays series at the Morrill Memorial Library will include a performance by the Boston duo Cold Chocolate on Sunday, March 24 at 3 p.m. Cold Chocolate is an Americana band that combines bluegrass, folk, and rock to create a unique sound. Guitarist and songwriter Ethan Robbins will be joined by Ariel Bernstein on percussion and special guest Kirsten Lamb on upright bass. Widely recognized for their original music and high-energy shows, Cold Chocolate has performed at numerous venues and music festivals along the East Coast. Punctuated by tight harmonies and skillful musicianship, and with a focus on songwriting, Cold Chocolate has quickly gained recognition for their original music and high-energy shows. Writes Simon Waxman of The Boston Review, "[Cold Chocolate] sounds softer than the dew on the mountainside, harder than a Harley pushing back red dust, sweeter than true love."
