Popular duo Sonny and Perley will return to the Morrill Memorial Library on Sunday 11/21 at 3:00 pm as the third concert in our Fall 2021 Musical Sundays concert series. Their program highlights material from Sonny and Perley's Jazz repertoire, the Great American Songbook with selections from the 1920s through the 1980s, International Cabaret, and Bossa Nova. Sonny and Perley interpret and perform in their own inimitable artistic style, incorporating elements of education, history, art, culture, audience engagement, intimacy, and artistic creativity.

This husband and wife team achieves a rare musical symbiosis, having spent the last 30 years developing and perfecting their unique blend of Jazz, Great American Songbook, Bossa Nova, and International Cabaret into what has become their musical signature. The magazine All About Jazz says : “They brightly meld lyricism, passion, and rhythm in a way that is both rich and exotic“. In their live performances they captivate audiences with their spontaneity, warmth, musical honesty and broad repertoire.
