Register today to reserve your own kite-making kit and join us for this amazing activity you can do at home! Kites have been enjoyed by people everywhere for thousands of years. Grab your kit on Tuesday, September 1st 2020 at the library between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM to get started. Next, create your very own original Sled kite at home! You'll need a grown-up's help and some basic decorating supplies. Instructions and kite tails are included. Finally, post a picture of you making and flying your kite on social media! Don't forget to tag the Norwood Cultural Council and the Morrill Memorial Library when you post.

The mission of the Norwood Cultural Council (NCC) is to promote excellence, access, and education in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences, in order to improve the quality of life for residents of Norwood. Comprised of committed volunteer residents, the NCC meets monthly with the purpose of supporting events and programs via grants from the Town of Norwood and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
