[VIRTUAL] Heather Wolf on Finding & Identifying Birds

Monday, September 237:00—8:00 PMVirtualMorrill Memorial Library33 Walpole St., Norwood, MA, 02062

The Morrill Memorial Library is partnering with Ashland Public Library and other Massachusetts public libraries to host Heather Wolf, author of Find More Birds: 111 Surprising Ways to Spot Birds Wherever You Are, about the birding in your locale on Monday, September 23 at 7:00pm on Zoom.

We're inviting author and birder Heather Wolf back for another talk! This time, Heather will discuss how to find and identify more birds in your locale by picking a "patch"--that is, a place close to home where you can watch birds often. She'll give tips on how to pick your patch and use it not only as a "classroom" to become a better birder, but also as a way to connect more deeply with the nature that surrounds you.

About the author: Heather Wolf is the author of Find More Birds and Birding at the Bridge. A Brooklyn-based birder, photographer, and educator, she works with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a web developer, teaches birding classes at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and gives walks and talks for various organizations in New York City and beyond.
