The Morrill Memorial Library is partnering with Ashland Public Library and other Massachusetts public libraries to host a discussion with historian Toni Mount, author of How to Survive in Tudor England, on Saturday, November 2 at 10:00am on Zoom.

Imagine that you've been transported back to Tudor England and have to start a new life there. Without smartphones, satnav, or social media, how will you know where you are or where to go? Where will you live and work? And who can you turn to if you fall ill... or upset the king? In a period when execution by beheading was the fate of thousands, how can you keep your head in Tudor England? Author and historian Toni Mount will answer these and other questions about how it was done and what we would need to if we ever had an opportunity to travel back in time.
